THE GOLD CUP ROOMS

A substantial four bedroom house within the Stables Complex remodeled with stunning interiors complete with the original stable partitions. The owner will consider one or two small/medium dogs at this property.  This house can be booked on its own (Sleeps 8)or as part of the Lady Rothschild Stables Complex. The Stables Complex consists of 3 properties – St leger, Goodwood and Gold Cup sleeping a max. of 24 people. Gold Cup has great open plan spaces and plenty of seating and table areas for the whole group. Under “Groups” see The Stables.

As well as enjoying the comfort of your holiday house, guests can discover a wealth of activities across the private Ashton Estate. From peaceful woodland walks, bird watching, mini-golf, and den building, to creative corners like the little artist’s studio and themed shepherd huts, there’s something for everyone. The walled garden invites play with giant chess and boules, while the Green Room offers grown-ups snooker, pool, darts, and more, and the Wicket Room welcomes all ages with table tennis, board games, and a cosy toddler area. Outdoors, enjoy cricket, croquet, volleyball, and rounders, or book extra treats such as clay pigeon shooting, archery, and karaoke. The Gold Cup Rooms are located adjacent to the historic cricket field and thatched pavilion. Please use the postcode PE8 5LF. Parking is to the front of the property (lookout for very large blue painted wooden arched doors) to the right.

Prior to Arrival

Please let us know your estimated time of arrival. The property may be ready earlier than the normal 4pm checkin time. Please enquire a couple of days before. When you are circa 20 minutes from the property please call us on 01832 272264  / 07836207584

Personal Check-In

One of our team members will personally check you into the property, no matter what time it is. They will give you a quick run through on how to use the equipment in the property including heating etc and answer any questions you may have. We live on the Estate and are contactable 24hrs a day in the case of emergencies.

Guests have use of an eight seater large outdoor table situated in the central shared courtyard. There is also a Weber bbq (quests must supply their own charcoal).

You are welcome to sit / eat / picnic in the area in front of the houses and behind the houses is a cricket field – perfect for a game of rounders!
